Earthquake

I just have to post this so that I remember it afterwards, that´s how little people react when the quakes are less than 5. This one was 4.3, and that was at it´s center close to San Jose. In San Francisco it felt like a bigger truck had been driving by.

Around Golden Gate bridge, China Beach

I drove through Marina and Crissy Fields, where there is always people and something happening.
But I was really trying to find a way with the car to the "root" of the bridge, to check the views there.
It turned out that there was lots to see
and very good views from the old fortress.

and a few rooms.
And somebody taking advantage of the very strong winds that day.
I had never been to China Beach before, because I could never find a parking place.
Well, the place was really not that exciting...

We had a potluck at work and Sirpa had made a fruit sallad.

Game Developer Conference

Yes, I was at GDC this year, too :-) It is quite convenient when the conferences are arranged almost around the corner.

Koh Samui & The Monkey

Allthough almost around the corner from where we live, we had never had dinner at this place before.
Fortunately Sirpa reserved a table for us, because the place was actually quite nice. Good food and very friendly service. The server was a pretty lady
so I was somewhat surprised when I found out what here name was, from reading the receipt. This is probably funny only for the Swedish-speaking crowd out there, though.

John´s Grill

The management team was together for the first time for a very long time, and this time in SanFran.
I had reserved a table at John´s Grill, and this time most of the people were satisfied, but Jaakko and Katja still had something they did not like.
I just don´t understand how I can find a place that does not make all the guys happy,
or maybe they will never be satisfied with the food...

Party at Paul and Jennie´s place

It was time for Paul´s Red Neck Birthday Poker Party
where the guys apparently concentrated on food
and the girls on ... something else :-)
Anyway, yet another fun party with these guys!

Napa, the town

On our many trips to Wine Country we had never driven to the town of Napa.
Well, it turned out that except for a few nice looking buildings
we could not really find anything worth mentioning. Somebody got laid in 1901, but that´s it :-)

Sonoma, gallery

Once again in Sonoma, this time we saw a gallery that we hade missed during the earlier trips.
