At the Embarcadero

Sirpa is good at finding our how to move around with local transport, so we took the Muni along the Embarcadero and took off before Market street.
It was damn crowded at the Ferry Building Marketplace, but we found lots of space just by walking 100 ft to Miramar, which had quite ok food. Actually, only "El Miramar" could be found by Google and Yelp, so I have no idea what place it was. It said Miramar in the the receipt, though...
Anyway, it had a nice view over Bay Bridge, too.
We bought a few small things for the apartment, but the most visible one was the red Cuisinart coffee maker, which for long was the only thing in the apartment.
Otherwise all the rooms were as empty as the living room, and this continued for quite a while...

We experienced quite a lot during the week, and had some great food at places like Lavanda in Palo Alto on Oct 16th, Fringale on Oct 17th, in addition to the others mentioned earlier.
